The file apparently contains a list of every item you can buy in GTA Online via in-game currency. As a result, t0st conducted an investigation of the game’s code and found that the problem was with how the game used single-threaded CPU processing for a particular 10MB file. He/she said it took almost xix times as long to launch GTA: V’s online mode on PC as compared to the story mode. The fan, t0st, had earlier explained the issue through a post as well. “As a result of these investigations, we have made some changes that will be implemented in a forthcoming title update.” “After a thorough investigation, we can confirm that player t0st did, in fact, reveal an aspect of the game code related to load times for the PC version of GTA Online that could be improved,” Rockstar Games told PCGamer in a statement. The patch will be brought via a future update to the game, to fix a problem that has plagued many PC gamers. And it seems Rockstar Games took notice of the same, and is going to implement the patch into the fame officially, the company confirmed to PC Gamer.
